The Steps of Our Process
STEP 1 - CALL FOR A CONSULTATION
At Maryland Roofing Exteriors, we communicate with our customers during each step of the process from beginning to end. We will discuss all the processes and steps involved, and evaluate all of your options for ensuring that the job is done correctly. We can give you the initial estimates over the phone. If we are a good match, we will arrange a visit for a site inspection, and then provide you with a final and fixed price estimate.
STEP 2 - PROPOSAL CONTRACT
Our proposal will give you all the details of the work to be performed. We will define the materials to be used, the time of completion, guarantees and warranties. The proposal/estimate will contain some clauses that defines the terms and conditions for your remodel for your approval and the initial payment.
STEP 3 - PREPARATION
Once you accept the proposal, we will prepare the work site and we will allocate the time to assure your home is protected during the remodeling process. In addition, we protect floors and install scaffolding on stairs if needed. We will deliver the required material to your property in order to start the installation.
STEP 4 - DEMOLITION AND INSTALLATION
Our team will perform an initial removal and disposal of old materials to allow for an assesment of the existing decking, sheating and structure to determine if the foundation is stable, and see if there is rotten material in order to receive, replace, and install the new material. If some material/structure replacement is required or needed, we will let you know with a work change order. We then will install the new work or replacement with the proper flashing, materials, waterproofing and sealants, all following our design plans. The last step is a final inspection and clean up.
STEP 5 - WALKTHROUGH AND CLEAN UP
We will walk through all performed work and/or prove through pictures to ensure the project has been completed to our clients’ satisfaction and that all technical aspects have been covered and resolved. Upon review and final completion, we will do a thorough clean up.
STEP 6 - GUARANTEES AND MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES
Upon final clean up, we will review any additional work done since the walkthrough. Then we will present you the details for guarantees and manufacturers’ warranties.
STEP 7 - REVIEWS AND REFERRALS
Once the project is completed, we will invite you to write us a review for our performance and service through the different stages of your project. Your valuable feedback allows us to continue improving and maintaining our customer-focused services we provide. If you wish to refer us it will be greatly appreciated, if your referred friend or family hire us you will get a professional free inspection within a year.
